Nigerian actress, Annie Macaulay–Idibia has gushed over her husband, Nigerian music legend, 2face Idibia.
According to the mother of three, the ‘African Queen’ crooner continues to show his strength and dedication towards his work despite his ill health.
She explained that 2face attended a ceremony to unveil him as the Goodwill Ambassador of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) despite being extremely ill.
Mrs Idibia indicated that her husband had to plead with his doctor to let him go because he had to attend to his social duty.
She wrote on her Instagram page:
“Incredible human!! So baba has been so ill n on drips n plenty med! Dr was by his side for 48hrs!! We all didn’t think he could make it to this big event that was all about him and the Nigeria Stock Exchange”.
She added that: “Even with his voice constantly shaking n his body shaking, the man got up told the DR, ‘men I no go too tey! I no dey like cancel work matter, n this one over important make I just drag body reach the even!’ He made it but back to his meds! get well soon baby”.
