Budding Ghanaian singer, Petrah has said A-list Ghanaian musicians are unsupportive of underground musicians.
In a conversation with MzGee on Joynews’ ‘The Gist’, she lamented over the lack of support from top artistes in the country.
She indicated that the support of successful artistes will help the careers of upcoming artistes.
” We need the support of those successful artistes. Its not just the media houses that will be doing the job.
” If you are an A-list artistes, just tweet or talk about an upcoming artiste to support. Most especially when its a female artiste, if you notice a female artiste who is coming up and doing well just acknowledge the person and let others know too.” Petrah told host MzGee
She argued that the case is different in Nigeria.
” In Nigeria, the A list artistes support new artistes like Rema and Zlatan and its just nice. But its not the same as Ghana.”
