Actress Priscilla Opoku Agyemang, widely known in showbiz as Ahuofe Patri, has refuted claims that she is heavily into drugs.
The ‘Adventures of Kalybos’ actress disclosed that rumors which she described as false hurt her.
Ahuofe Patri told Lexis Bill on Joy FM’s Drive Time show, Monday that most rumours about her that went viral were untrue.
“Just like every rumour I was hurt to see the news go around that I was on drugs, it’s not true. I never have been on drugs,” she told host Lexis Bill.
In 2017, reports went rife that Ahuofe Patri was heavily into drugs to the extent that her mother had begin to worry about her condition.
The report also suggested that singer Kwabena Kwabena had introduced her to the vice and the two were secretly seeing each other.
However, Ahuofe Patri has indicated that she barely knows the ‘Aso’ hitmaker.
“I have realised that you cannot change people’s perspective of you. It has been six years going on to seven now, I have grown, I am a strong girl and do not focus on such news.”
She added: “You see what we want you to see but there is life. We need our own life outside the industry.”
Ahuofe Patri shot to fame after starring alongside Kalybos in the popular Boys Kasa series.
