President Akufo-Addo and comedian DKB are set to have a discussion on the comedy at the seat of government, the jubilee house.
This comes after the former Big Brother Africa Housemate made a request to the President to meet with him.
According to DKB, he wants to ensure that comedy in Ghana is elevated hence his decision to meet with the president.
“After meeting influential entertainers for discussions such as Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy, I believe it is time for me to meet with the President on behalf of comedy. Comedy has come a long way but we are struggling to stand on our feet now. We have over the years hosted sold-out shows and it is time to move to the next level,’’ DKB told Myjoyonline.
DKB over the weekend performed at the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) Presidential Grand Ball held at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) which was attended by President Akufo-Addo and other dignitaries.
