Friend of musician Castro, Alordia of Alordia Promotions is threatening to drag private legal practitioner, Maurice Ampaw to court over claims he and others have neglected Castro’s family as they reel under a lot of pain.
“As for this matter, we will talk and we would have to deal with the lawyer. We need to take him on because one other thing that is bothering me is that in Ghana, cases like that, it won’t go no where,”
Alordia, however, fears that enough will not be done to deter Mr. Ampaw from making false statements in the future.
Speaking in an interview with MzGee on Showbiz927, Alordia mentioned how he, together with the likes of Sarkodie and Shatta Wale and some friends of Castro, raised about GHC 20,000.00 for the family.
Alordia further alleged that Lawyer Ampaw was on an attention seeking agenda when he made those claims.
“We raised a lot of money. Basically when the thing started, we decided to raise the funds for the children but we ended up giving his mum some money as well. I wish this thing is in Europe, like we’d deal with this man for what he is doing. If you want to trend, do something that everyone will understand. You can’t just tarnish someone’s image saying that the person doesn’t have money,” he said
In a related development, Alordia has criticized Lawyer Maurice Ampaw for his earlier outburst on radio.
Maurice Ampaw reacting to a response from Castro’s family that his allegations were false, lost his cool, tagged the questions being posed to him as foolish and hanged up during the live radio interview.
Alordia believes that such character is not befitting of one in the legal profession.
“As a lawyer, you shouldn’t even talk like that, you shouldn’t shout. This is wrong,” he remarked
