Musician Article Wan has said the lack of investors in the music industry can be blamed on ungrateful artistes.
According to him, people are reluctant on investing their money in the industry because of the attitudes of some artistes.
Born Bright Homenya, the Afro pop musician told MzGee in an interview on Showbuzz on 3FM that investors are shying away from financing in music because artistes treat these investors with disrespect.
“We’ve got investors but sometimes, artistes treat them some way so they don’t feel like investing again,” the ‘That Thing’ hitmaker lamented
“Sometimes, people disrespect them, people are not faithful to them… There are instances the artistes snatch the girlfriends of these investors. That actually gets them crazy. How can you snatch the taste of your boss?” He added
Article wan however encouraged investors to invest in the industry despite the few bad nuts.
“Investors shouldn’t look at what other artistes have done to them and say they will not invest in other good artistes. It’s killing the industry.” He stated
