Veteran Ghanaian Highlife musician, Ben Brako has described rapper, Asem as a very good rapper.
The Baya crooner explained that the ‘No more Kpayor’ hitmaker is one of the few Ghanaian rappers who rhymes with reason.
In a conversation with MzGee on ‘The Gist’, Ben Brako said his decision to feature the younger rapper on his hit single ‘Shame and Scandal’ was because of his unique rap prowess.
“I put him on ‘Shame and Scandal’ because he’s very good. He’s one of the few rappers who have rhymes with reason. Alot of them just want to rhyme but they don’t say anything” he said

He added that his attempt to reach the rapper in recent times has proved futile.
“I’ve tried to contact him but I haven’t had any response. I’ve really tried because I wanted him on the video. I understand he’s in the US, somewhere in New York but for one reason or the other, he’s decided to lay low. So I have to respect that” he added
The Gist airs on the Joynews Channel on MultiTV and on DSTV 421 on Saturdays and Sundays at 8.30pm.
