Ghanaian rapper, Pappy Kojo has said the one time beef between him and fellow rapper, Joey B wasn’t his fault.
The ‘Aye late’ hitmaker indicated that Joey B is like a brother to him hence he cannot start a fight with him.
Pappy who was speaking in a conversation with MzGee on ‘The Gist’ show said he cannot readily pin point incidents that led to the disagreement in 2016.
The one time bestfriends shocked music lovers when their bromance turned sour.
Although both of them have failed to give details of the issues that led to their fight, speculation have gone rife on what could have been the cause.
But Pappy in a reaction told MzGee he did not understand the reason why they were fighting adding that the question should be redirected to Joey B.
” It was so confusing when me and him when were going back and forth because that was my brother so I did’t even understand why we were fighting in the first place. I even tatooed his name and everything so I couldn’t understand. So certain things I still don’t understand so if anything, you’ll have to ask him (Joey B)”. he said
Born Jason Gaisie, the ‘Balance’ hitmaker explained that the rift couldn’t come from him because he acknowledged Joey B’s contribution to his career.
“I can never fight with someone who was there for me. So it was definitely not from my side so if anything, you’ll have to ask Joey B because I can never go against someone who has been there for me”
He also spoke about his change in music style.
