President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has removed Catherine Afeku from the Ministy of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts.
Director of Communications at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin on Thursday, February 28, announced the reshuffle in a statement.
The Member of Parliament for Evalue-Ajomoro-Gwira constituency is now a Minister of State at the Office of the President, assigned to the Office of the Senior Minister.
Her removal has been received with mixed feelings as her critics have said she has done little for the creative arts industry.
Mrs Afeku has been replaced by Barbara Oteng Gyasi, Member of Parliament for Prestea Huni-Valley constituency and former Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources.
