Ace Ghanaian media personality, Mikky Osei Berko has said most celebrities who attempt and fail at politics are not deep enough.
The renowned actor argued that showbiz personalities will be better leaders than some politicians due to their ability create easily.
He told MzGee on Gee Spot that celebrities who have been unable to make a career out of politics is due to their personal inabilities to think deeper.
Using former California governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger as an example, the ‘Taxi Driver’ star actor said the former actor is one of the showbiz personalities who has distinctively succeeded in politics.
” I believe that good actors are very intelligent. Probably the level of showbiz personalities and celebrities that we have are not deep enough that’s why they fail most of the time.
“…but I believe that leadership takes a lot of creativity. If you look at the African leaders, what do they create? They only find ways to take loans and taxes. They don’t create businesses. They don’t create nothing. So I believe we rather have creative artistes in politics” he stated
