Controversial Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has said Nigerian music superstar, Davido should have contacted him when he arrived in Ghana.
According to the ‘Melissa’ hitmaker, it is only safe to be in the streets of Accra while in the company of the Shatta Movement because he has paid his dues to the streets.
His comments comes after Davido lost his $30,000 wrist watch after his performance at the Afronation concert in Accra.
Shatta Wale in a video posted on his social media page mocked the Nigerian singer while advising him to be wary of his movements while in Accra.
Addressing Davido, the Shatta Movement president said in pidgin: “If you get to Ghana, you’ll have to ask who the area King Kong is. I dey streets wey the streets dey love me because the area King Kongs all be my dons wey we dey pay dues,”
He added:“You for pay boys wey boys go know say you dey understan dema language.”
