Multiple award winning reggae/dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy has responded to earlier claims made by hiplife artiste, Tic suggesting that event organizers rotate same musicians for all shows.

Stonebwoy is of the view that every era has music stars that are in demand thus they are booked to headline every major event in the country.

His comments are in reply to Tic after he suggested that event organizers widen their scope when booking artistes to ensure that most artistes in the country have their fair share of event in a year.

However, the ‘Kpoo K3k3’ hitmaker who disagree with the suggestion indicated that there was an era where the likes of Tic, Tinny and others were in demand and there was nothing wrong with that.

In an interview on Hitz FM, Stonebwoy added that music lovers show interest in artistes at a period in time till they switch to the next crop.

“Once upon a time Tic Tac, Tinny and some other artiste were ruling the music scene. They were hotter when some of us were not,”

“Once upon a time people got used to the style of the “Ss” Sonni Balli, Samini and Sarkodie, but now the “Ks” Kuami Eugene, King Promise and company are doing so well,” he added.

“Maybe ten years from now, other artistes will be hotter than some of us,” he stated.

“I think if you want to book Celine Dion now the price will be something else. It is like wine, the older is it the more expensive it should be but sadly the system here is different,” he added.
