Her sense of fashion and style has sent tongues wagging but the songstress has indicated several times that she is unperturbed by the comments from her critics. Well Budding songstress, Nina Richie, has categorically stated that exposing her body is who she is adding that she doesn’t like to cover up.
Somewhere last year, the Black Avenue Muzilk (BAM) signee was at the centre of criticism when she attended DJ Mensah’s annual All White party in a white lacy cut-out bralette paired with shimmering pants exposing ample breasts with her nipple being equally freed from any clothing.
Later that same year, Nina who seems to have developed a thick skin to the insults attended the 2018 All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA), at the Accra International Conference almost half naked.
Speaking on the ‘Does Sex Sell?’ edition of the Gee Spot with Multimedia’s MzGee, Nina Richie indicated that her sense of style is because of who she is and not necessarily because she likes the attention it comes with.
She said: “It’s who I am. It’s my personality. It’s how I like to dress. I’m not someone who likes to be covered up. I’m comfortable in my skin and I feel confident in how I look”.
Speaking further on why she believes sex sells in the entertainment industry, Nina told MzGee: “If I do a music video all covered up, who’s gonna watch me? They want to see buttocks, they want to see breast, they want to see everything. But you need to do it tastefully” she stated
Born Nina Yaa Sancio, the Canada based Ghanaian songstress who hails from the Ashanti Region of Ghana added that her very revealing outfit to the All White Party was not planned, saying the outfit is the only white attire she could find to wear on that particular day.
The 28-year-old recently released a single titled Tsoobi which was accompanied by a provocative video.
