Songstress Sista Afia has dismissed as sad claims that she is having an affair with fellow musician Fameye.
The grapevine is rife with rumours about the two dating, largely because they have been seen hanging out together consistently in recent times.
This comes on the heels of her revelation in an interview that she is willing to give love a final chance as infidelity on her side seems to have wrecked most of her previous relationships.
Fameye, on the other hand, is on record to have described Sista Afia as his favourite Female Musician.
But in an interview with MzGee on 3fm’s Showbuzz, Sista Afia refuted the allegation insisting they are closer now because they are promoting a song they did together.
” Fameye is a brother to me, its like Kdei is a brother to me, Medikal is a brother, Quamina MP is a brother. The way we are if you sit with us, you will not even say ahhh but sista afia too but people they talk oo”
She further explained why she had to feature fameye on her latest song instead of Medikal.
” Fameye is my brother, and i felt like he was the perfect fit and his vocals, i mean this is the type of instrumentals Fameye can kill easily, i was gonna give it to Medikal but i was like Medikal dierr we have our issues, and i just gave it Fameye”
Well, this is not the first time rumours about her frolicking with other musicians have surfaced but she insists its just unfortunate people see her in that light:
“So me dierr why, its like i don’t understand, every guy that i am super close to i am doing something with them, its too sad, like come on man, its too sad, so it hurts sometimes you know, but regardless you are a woman you cant really do much about these things”.
