Nigerian billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, has fulfilled his promise of footing the hospital bills of ailing veteran Nigerian actor, Victor Olaotan.
Femi Otedola in December 2018 promised to help pay the bills of the actor after another veteran actor Richard Mofe-Damijo popularly known as RMD reached out to him Femi to ask for help.
Announcing the good news, RMD praised Mr. Otedola for the kind gesture.
“Valentine has come and gone for many but for me I am still overwhelmed by the best valentine gift yet, a text from a man who has in a short space of time become friend and brother @femiotedolaconfirming that he has released just a little less than $100,000 (USD) for the commencement of the treatment of my brother and friend Victor Olaotan. I just wanted to share this here not to flatter Femi but to reiterate that you are what you do not what you say you will do.
Thank you my brother @femiotedola for proving that you are a man of your words. God bless you”. He wrote on Instagram
Victor Olaotan was involved in an accident on October 31, 2016 in Lagos, an incident which left him in a medically induced coma for months.
His legs were fractured and he risked being amputated. Although his family had been taking care of him since the unfortunate incident occurred, the need arose to solicit funds for the veteran so he could seek medical care outside the shores of the country.
