Ghanaian rapper cum music producer, Jayso has said the Ghanaian music industry is currently enjoying recognition Internationally.
The rapper stated that all Ghanaian genres are doing well world wide in recent times.
Speaking to MzGee on The Gist, the 36 year old songwriter added that Ghanaian musicians are also making money out of this recognition.
” I think Ghana music is in a great space. We are enjoying a lot of International attention. People are listening Ghanaian music be it Hiplife, Highlife, Hiphop music. There are a lot of artistes out there who are representing Ghana on the global stage and I can say that for the first time in a very long time, musicians are making money from what they do. And they are able to connect with their fanbase thanks to social media,” Jayso told MzGee.
“So generally, we are in a great space as musicians.” he added
The rapper is currently promoting his 0106 album which features J. Derobie, Cina Soul, Pappy Kojo among others.
