Controversial afrobeats singer, Lord Paper has said Ghanaians are yet to get an understanding of his music style.
The ‘Ewurama’ singer stated that the talent he possesses is still unknown to Ghanaians.
Speaking in an interview with Graphic Showbiz, Lord Paper explained that although there’s still a long road ahead, he believes Ghanaians are gradually accepting his music.
“I don’t think Ghanaians understand the kind of music I do but if they did they would appreciate me for my works,” he said.
He further bemoaned that most Ghanaian musicians shun him when he contacts them to feature on a song.
“I can’t understand why this is so. The songs I sent for the feature had no swear words in it. I am still shocked that Ghanaian musicians would look down on another musician. I don’t want to mention names but such moves are bad,” he stated.
Lord Paper has released other songs after his controversial debut single ‘Ewurama’.
Fameye, Love No Catch You Before, North K Guy, Maame Serwah, Insecure and recently Dzigbordi are song of the songs he has to his credit.
