Rapper Michael Takyi-Frimpong popularly known as Lord Paper has called Ghanaians pretenders.
The controversial rapper who first came into the limelight after he released an explicit music video said Ghanaians actually loved the video.
The X-rated ‘Awurama’ video was released in 2016 attracting so many criticisms that threw a big blow to his proliferating music career.
Speaking on the Gee Spot show with MzGee, Lord Paper said he hasn’t been able to get the same attention on his sunsequent projects because they were nit explicit.
“I feel like the problem is people are confusing arts with reality. I acted in the video but I’ve been tagged with what I did there as though that’s who I am in reality” he said
“I’ve played other roles in various videos but I’ve not been tagged with that so I feel like the problem is Ghanaians love porno but they pretend as if they don’t like. That’s what I’ve seen”.
He quizzed, “Because I’ve done alot of things but the focus remains on the things I did in the past. Why is it so?”
