Rapper M.anifest has said Ghanaians are unable to absorb satirical works.
According to him, so many connotations and suggestions to his newly released project, ‘Rapper 101’ is a clear indication.
The two time VGMA rapper of the year winner stated that contrary to reports, he is not targeting any particular rapper with the song.
In an interview on Joy FM, the ‘GodMC’ said the song is a witty take on the industry in general.
“‘Rapper 101’ is just a witty take on how to be a rapper these days” in Ghana.
“I cast a wide net…it’s a blanket statement…it’s a satirical take on the industry, not on a person,” the rapper stated.
“I think Ghanaians have a weak stomach for satire because we like to take things very literally,” M.anifest explained.
The ‘Nowhere cool’ rapper is currently trending on social media after he released a single titled ‘Rapper 101’ off his upcoming EP titled ‘The Gamble’.
