Gospel musician Lady Prempeh has said Ghanaians don’t notice positive things.

According to her, it is difficult for Ghanaians to commend people when they are doing positive things instead, she said they always highlight issues they disagree with.

Recently, Lady Prempeh made headlines when she resurfaced with a short blonde hair after a short hiatus from music.

The ‘odo yi wohe’ hitmaker who spoke to MzGee in a conversation on ‘The Gist’ said people should be commended as often as they are criticized.

” In Ghana when you do something good, its difficult for people to see. Now that I’m in a black hair no one is talking about it. When I said people should be allowed to come to church to worship as they are, people had problem with that,” she said

“So I think its about time they notice what we do not just criticize when they feel we do something wrong but rather encourage us when we do the right thing.” she added

She also spoke about her first project since returning to the music scene titled ‘Mekaekae’.

The Gist airs on the Joynews Channel on MultiTV and on DSTV 421 on Saturdays and Sundays at 8.30pm.
