Songstress Sista Afia has lamented over the lack of support by Ghanaians to her music.
The ‘Jeje’ hitmaker said she is currently reluctant on releasing new music because of the lack of support she receives after releasing a project.
In a conversation with MzGee on ‘The Gist’, Sista Afia stated that she is solely funding her music career without support.
” When I release tracks, Ghanaians don’t want to pay attention to me because its hard and difficult. I need more support. I’m just a single female artiste who is foing everything by herself. No management, no record label, no income, Its just me and my hardwork and God. I just want the attention to come on me.” she said
Sister Afia explained that she is yet to identify the problem with the challenge she is facing.
“ I really don’t know what the problem is. I pray about it but I’m just hoping.”
She announced that her next studio album titled ‘Queen Solomon reloaded’ will soon be released.
The Gist airs on the Joynews Channel on MultiTV and on DSTV 421 on Saturdays and Sundays at 8.30pm.
