Ghana’s most decorated musician, Sarkodie made history on Saturday October 9, 2019 when he won the first ever BET Best International Flow award.
Sarkodie beat stiff competition from Falz (Nigeria), Ghetts (U.K.), Kalash (France), Lil Simz (U.K.), Nasty C (South Africa), Tory Lanez (Canada) to win the maiden award.
His new feat got several reactions from fans and colleagues on social media.
This new award total’s the ‘Bleeding’ rapper’s win to two BET nods after he won the Best International Act: Africa alongside WizKid in 2012.
The 2019 edition of the BET Hip Hop Awards was held at Atlanta’s Cobb Energy Center.
The event was hosted by American comedian, actor and entertainer, Lil Duval.
