Hiplife artiste, Nana Boroo has fumed at claims suggesting that he should hand his mic.
According to him, Ghanaian s are fond of retiring celebrities when their time is due yet.
Speaking to MzGee, the ‘Aha y3 d3′ hitmaker stated that reggae legend, Lucky Dube would still be doing music if he were to be alive.
He indicated that he is in his 30s hence calls for him to retire is misplaced.
” Ghanaians are fond of that. They are always using their mouths to retire people. How old am I to retire?” He quizzed
Citing an example of Highlife Maestro, Kojo Antwi, Nana Boroo while speaking on ‘The Gist’ said: “Kojo Antwi just collaborated with King Promise on ‘Bra’. Isn’t he old? So that comments are very unfortunate”.
Nana Boroo whose debut single ‘Aha y3 d3′ rocked the music scene failed to counter the song years after.
However, his new highlife single titled “Fine Boy” is receiving a number of plaudits from industry players.
