Budding Ghanaian artiste Kweku Flick has revealed that he has a unique style and approach which makes him different from Kwesi Arthur, despite many people mistaking him for the BET nominee.
In an interview with MzGee on New Day on TV3 Kweku Flick said lots of artists have inspired his creative pieces because he always attaches their style to his which makes him stand out.
He however mentioned Kwesi Arthur as one of the artists who inspire him very much in the musical space and he has learned a lot from him.
“My sound and appearance are very different, I don’t look up to one particular person. I look up to different artists and I attach their style to mine to set me apart from the rest. I don’t sound like Kwesi Arthur, it is natural. I learn a lot from him talent-wise and character-wise.”
He disclosed that his mother advised him against dyeing his hair which made him opt for his natural black hair.
“I used to dye my hair but my mother advised me against it. Initially, she was not very cool with my pursuing music but she is always proud of me when she hears my song in town.”
According to him, he has collaborated with Kwesi Arthur, Shatta Wale, Sista Afia, Strongman,n and also an upcoming project with Sarkodie.
