Multiple award winning Ghanaian music star, Sarkodie has said he saw King Promise’ success story before the artiste took off.
The 2019 VGMA ‘Artiste of the Decade’ stated that he is glad to have been a part of the journey of King Promise.
Speaking to MzGee at King Promise’ album listening session, the ‘Adonai’ hitmaker said he was elated to see the young artiste blooming in the industry.
“I’m super proud. I believed in him. I saw this. I didn’t know how it was going to happen. But we thank God. I think God works in mysterious ways,” Sarkodie said.
He also acknowledged the efforts of Tema based sound engineer, Killbeats in the rise of King Promise.
“Big ups to Killbeat and Ohene and the whole crew for holding my boy down”.
King Promise recently released his debut album titled; ‘As Promised’.
The album features legendary Kojo Antwi, Wizkid, Sarkodie, Mugeez, Simi, Omar Sterling and Raye.
Apart from the already released songs such as CCTV, Abena, Bra and Tokyo, fans are expected to enjoy some fresh tunes on the album.
