Budding Ghanaian musician, J. Derobie has revealed he felt like he had taken the life of someone when he cut of his braids.
The talented dancehall singer who spots a well kempt hair now said he previously had a lot of hair enough to braid it.
In a conversation with MzGee, the ‘Odo Bra’ crooner explained that he was forced to cut his hair at some point because he got a job with a goverment institution.
” I used to have a lot of hair and I used to braid it. But I got a job at the Birth and Death Department and I couldn’t keep that kind of her so I had to cut it all off.” He stated
“When I went to cut my hair, I felt like like I was killing someone but I did it because I had to work to push my talent.” the emPawa artiste added
Asked if he believes he’ll make money from his craft, he answered in the affirmative.
” I’ll make money. A lot of money. The dream is to take Ghana to the world and that comes with money” he noted
