Ghanaian Disc Jockey, DJ Vyrusky has disclosed that he makes makes about $1000 in 3 weeks from online streaming of his music.
In a conversation with MzGee on ‘The Gist’, the award winning DJ said he is able to accumulate such huge sums of money because he has more than one videos that are doing well on YouTube.
” There’s no fixed sum but I think every 3 weeks you make a little over $1000. With mine, its not just from one video because I have many videos there that are doing well.″
“You’ll also have to advertise your videos so the more adverts that run on your page, the more money you make.”
DJ Vyrusky also credited afrobeats singer, Mr Eazi for his ability to make money from his music.
He indicated that he was taught the techniques involved in tracking down his monetary gains from his music across the globe by the Nigerian singer.
” I make alot money off YouTube and iTunes. Thanks to Mr Eazi who showed me how to monetize my YouTube and all that. So I’ve been making very good money from YouTube and the other streaming platforms.” he stated
