Dancehall artiste, Epixode has said he put aside his degree certificates to pursue music.
The ‘Avatar’ crooner stated that although his certificates could have fetch him a lot of money, he put it aside to pursue his passion.
Speaking to Graphic Showbiz, he said “I do paintings, which pays a lot but my first love is the music and that is why I cannot stop it. I went to Ghanata College of Arts where I had my first Degree in Arts and continued to NIIT where I did Digital Arts but I am not using those certificates because of the passion I have for music,”
Epixode further disclosed that but for his mother’s intervention, he would have quit music last year.
“When nothing is working for you in the music business, you feel like just giving up on something you love best and that was the state I got to last year,”
“My mum is my greatest inspiration because she did a lot when she was with Wulomei. Going through that difficult, she was the only one I could take inspiration from. She helps me write most of my lyrics and encourages me to always do positive music,” he explained
