Ghanaian musician turned businessman, Nyhiraba Kojo has disclosed he has quit music permanently because he doesn’t want to die as a pauper.

The Chief Executive Officer of Nhyira City Night Club indicated that he quit his infant music career to concentrate full time on his various businesses.

Speaking in an interview with MzGee, the ‘turn around’ hitmaker he had already set out a plan not to have a prolonged music career before his career kicked off seven years ago.

“I said to myself before I started this journey that I’m not going to do music for a longtime. So it was planned already before the (music) journey started so I’ve ended after 7 years,” he said

He stressed that, “I’ve totally quit because I don’t want to become like some of them. You’ll do well from the beginning but you’ll have to advise yourself later”

According to him, his decision to promote young and emerging artistes from Takoradi is another reason he dropped his mic.

“Secondly, I don’t want to be selfish. I’m a Tadi boy and I have so many underground artistes from Tadi that I want to see shining. As I’m talking, my studio is ready and I’m helping the new ones”. he stated
