Award winning Ghanaian Disc jockey, DJ Vyrusky has said he used DJing to get into music production.
According to the EIB DJ, he had wanted to get into music production long before he became a DJ but he had to get a certain mileage in the industry first.
He told MzGee on ‘The Gist’ that he wanted to get the attention of Ghanaians as a recognized DJ before venturing into music.
” In Ghana, you need to be recognized before you can show them what you can do but you can’t just come in with something when nobody knows him. So I had to get the mileage first for people to know what I can do,”
“It started like 4 years ago. That’s when I went to Richie asked him to teach me how its done. So I was always in the studio trying my hands on some stuff. So with the help of KiDi and Kuami Eugene, I started production.”
DJ Vyrusky produced one of the biggest hits in the country, “Adwene fi” featuring Shatta Wale and Kuami Eugene.
