Award winning rapper, Kwesi Arthur has revealed he was once got employed as a security personnel.
The Tema based rapper disclosed that had employed him called him to take his uniform to commence work but he was unable to go ahead with the offer.
Speaking to Bola Ray on Starr Chat, Kwesi Arthur who has constantly been talking about his humble background said life was hard for him and his family.
He added that though he had gained admission to the Ghana Institute of Journalism to pursue a degree in Communication, he was unable to go because his parents couldn’t afford the fees.
“I’m glad I stuck to this (music) through all the trials and the stuff people were telling me. People offered me jobs to be a security guard and stuff, I almost went for the job. They even called me once to come for my uniform.” He stresed
Kwesi Arthur was one of the winners at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) after he won the “Hip Hop Song of the Year”.
