Eccentric Ghanaian musician, Emmanuel Owusu-Bonsu widely known as Wanluv the Kubolor has disclosed he has been jailed in the United States of America before.
The controversial musician explained he spent one month in a US prison for a high speed chase.
The ‘Account Balance’ singer in an interview with Mamavi Owusu-Aboagye on the Cosmopolitan Mix on Joy FM explained in landed in trouble for a 7 minute chase with the Texas Police.
” I went to jail and prison in America. I got into a high speed chase with the police of Texas. I was riding a motor bike and they chased me for 7 minutes which felt like one hour.
“I did about one month because it was my first offence.” he stated
Asked if that was his only offence in the States, the father of seven said: ” My other offences expired registration tickets which became warrants. But my only offence in America which they caught me for was the motor bike case.”
The unrepentant singer indicated that the only lesson the incident taught him was to speed faster than the police.
