One of the Most controversial issues in Ghana is the naming of the Top four musicians in the country.
Rufftown Record label artiste, Wendy Shay for example got into trouble with Samini after She excluded him from her infamous Big 4 ‘S’ in Ghana music list until she was compelled to amend it.
Well, South African Hit Maker Kgaogelo Moagi popularly known as Master KG, may just revive this debate with his list of Ghanaian Musicians he would like to do a collaboration with.
When MzGee demanded to know in an interview on TV3’s New Day, which Ghanaian artiste is top on his list for a feature, the world popular “Skeleton Move” and “Jerusalema” singer first mentioned Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale:
” Stonebwoy, Stonebwoy and Shatta also i love what he is doing, those two i feel like and think are just doing amazing work”
He then introduced the only Female to have made the list saying ” also Becca is doing a great work, i will go for the three”.
He However had the epiphany to add Sarkodie just when MzGee was about wrapping up the interview:
“ and oh i forgot also Sarkodie, i think there is something that we have to work on right now, i don’t know how i forgot about him but he is one of the best and one of the people that i look up to from way back even today, so we might just get something coming soon, you know”
For him, the choice boils down to the fact that these names are “currently the best in Ghana, right now”.
When asked whether these collaborations will happen anytime soon he stressed that “definitely i went to Nigeria and its time to come to Ghana, the next door”
The South African was also grateful to Ghanaians for supporting his music and making him top charts the world over including Ghana.
