Award-winning Ghanaian Highlife artiste, Kuami Eugene has he will soon be Africa’s number one artiste.
The ‘Obiaato’ crooner who spoke to MzGee on 3FM’s Showbuzz, indicated that the world will soon believe he will be Africa’s number one artiste eventually.
“When I started calling myself Rockstar, people were mocking me and asking what I meant by that. But now when I go on stage and scream ROCK, they answer STAR. And I’m wondering if its not the same people who mocked me when I began calling myself that,” Kuami Eugene stated
The 2019 VGMA Artiste of the Year nominee added that: ” So very soon people will begin to believe that I’ll be Africa’s number one. Even as at now, people respond when I say Africa with Number 1. I’m speaking it into being.”
The Lynx Entertainment signee further indicated that his dream is steadily in motion with success he has chalked in the music industry in his short time.
“Besides I’ve won an AFRIMA as Most Prominent African Artiste of the Year, I have a lot of African nominations, I’m going for an African tour this year so little by little we are getting there.” He added
Kuami Eugene also noted he intends working with some African artistes on his album which will be released this year.
