Songstress Sista Afia has said she is not deterred of the lack of attention on her music.
The ‘Slay Queen’ singer noted that it took time for Nigerian music star, Burna Boy to get the much needed recognition he is currently enjoying.
She told MzGee in a conversation on ‘The Gist’ that she is hopeful her time will come.
” Music is my life. This is what I was born into. I’m not going to stop just because someone is not listening to my music or paying attention to my craft. I’ll have to keep on doing more.
” Use Burna Boy as an example. He was in, did two songs and went out then he came back and became huge. I think everyone has their own destiny and when you work hard, God will favour you.” she said
She announced that her next studio album titled ‘Queen Solomon reloaded’ will soon be released.
