Fast rising Ghanaian music star, J Derobie has said he’s searching for a girlfriend.
The ‘Poverty’ hitmaker said he is looking for a woman who will be by his side to help him grow.
In a conversation with MzGee on Joynews, the emPawa star who released his third single after two successfully dancehall songs – Poverty and Irie – indicated that he switch genres to prove his versatility.
According to him, his new single titled ‘Odo Bra’ is a clear indication that he can not be boxed into one genre.
” I didn’t know dancehall will make me blow so I decided that let me show Ghanaians that I do Afrobeats as well. The reaction has been great because Ghanaians didn’t expect it.” he stated
Asked the reason behind the swift shift, J Derobie said, ” I’m looking for a girl. I’m actually telling a story. The story is about me.
” I’m looking for a girl who will come to me, be by me, support me and help me grow.” he added
