Fameye has said he is not surprised over his former manager’s decision to sign his new artiste, Cryme Officer with a schnapp and eggs.
The ‘Notin I get’ hitmaker explained that CEO of OGB Music, Ogidi Brown had those tendencies in him while he was under his label.
Ogidi Brown went viral after he presented eggs and Schnapps during the signing ceremony of his new artiste, Cryme Officer.
Wading in the controversy, Fameye said although many people saw the viral pictures as a joke he knew the situation was serious.
“I wasn’t surprised when I saw it. People actually thought it is actually one of those social media things but I didn’t see it that one because I have worked with them and with kind of things they were saying, I know this is real. I’m not surprised at all.”
Fameye also stated that his decision to leave the label was because he didn’t want to be left disappointed with his career.
“I believe they are doing this because of me. Because they feel I disappointed them but I left because I didn’t want to disappoint myself. I was not okay at the label so I had to leave.”
He indicated that Ogidi Brown signing an artiste with eggs and schnapps tells a story of the kind of person he is and all he, Fameye had to endure under the label.
