Kofi Robert, a former handler of ‘Beast Of No Nation’ teen actor, Emmanuel Adom Quaye popularly known as Strika has said he’s relieved for handling over the money in his possession to the young actor.
According to Mr. Robert, although he had intended to handle the money for the teen actor until he was 21, he indicated that he is at ease now.
Speaking to MzGee, Mr Roberts said he still hopes the young man succeeds.
”I’m relieved. I’m absolutely relieved even though in my heart of hearts, I wish nothing but the best for him. I wish that the dream I had for him will materialize. I want him to be in a position whereby he’s 21, he’s doing a vocation even if he doesn’t want to go to school but he’s doing something positive with his life,.
“The main purpose for holding on to his money was because I wanted him to be so successful that reporters would see him driving a car or he’ll have a house”. he added
This was shortly after Mr Roberts handed over an amount of ¢40,093.22 to Strika in the presence of his family at the Accra Regional Police Command.
The child star had accused his handlers; Kobina Sam and Kofi Robert of denying him access to monies paid him by Netflix for his role in ‘Beast of no Nation’.
