
Budding Ghanaian female rapper, Freda Rhymz has said it feels great to be signed to a new record label.
Freda Rhymes who made history as the first female act to win the MTN Hitmaker music reality parted ways with D Black’s Black Avenue Musiq label a year after signing with them.
She was however signed to A.V.O shortly after her exit on a 5 year deal.
Speaking to MzGee on ‘The Gist’, Freda indicated that the label was everything she was looking out for.
” It feels great. As you can see my face, its all smiley. It feels very good and I’m very happy.” She said
Asked if she wasn’t happy at Black Avenue Musiq, the rapper known as ‘Saa Chicki nu’ replied: ” I was but this is what I’ve been praying for and I finally have it so I’m very grateful to God.”
She also indicated that her personal relationship with D Black remains cordial despite ending their working relationship few months ago.
