Budding Ghanaian singer, Petrah has said its easier to work with Nigerian musicians than their Ghanaian counterparts.
According to her, Nigerian musicians are more ready to support an artiste regardless of their rank in the industry.
She lamented to MzGee in a conversation on JoyNews that she has been struggling to catch the attention of some A listers in the Ghanaian music industry.
” For the Nigerians, working with them is very easy. Its more like communication. They don’t care if you are an upcoming musician or not. If they see that the song is good, they’ll just jump on the song” she said
“I’m more comfortable working with Nigerians because compared to we Ghanaians, when it comes to collaborations, they are ready to go.”
Petrah indicated that though she has worked with Samini and Medikal, she expects more push from them.
” I’ve worked with Medikal and Samini. I didn’t have difficulty working with them but we need more of their support.” she explained.
