I’ve had an amazing year despite doom prophecy – KiDi

Afro beats singer, Kidi has said he is having an amazing year despite the doom prophecy over his career.

The ‘Thunder’ hitmaker indicated that his career has not been affected in any way by the prophecy.

Prophet Nigel Gaisie at his watch-night service on December 31, 2018 prophesized that 2019 would be a bad year for artistes Kuami Eugene, Kidi and Kwesi Arthur.

In a video which went viral, the founder and leader of True Word Prophetic Fire Ministry was heard saying, “This year 2019, the person called Kidi, this year is not a good year for him. Kuami Eugene is not a good year for him. Kwesi Arthur is not a good year for him,” he said

But, the musician born Dennis Nana Dwamena in an interview on Joy News said

” It hasn’t affected anyone. This year has been an amazing year. This year, I’ve had the chance of performing at the Playstation Theatre in New York. I’ve been to Amsterdam for a huge festival for Global superstars. I’ve released my album successfully. God’s blessings have been coming and I can’t be ungrateful to say I haven’t had a good year.”

He explained that he made a vow to have a great year which he believes is exactly what he is having.

“The pastor said what he said in the beginning of the year and I told myself I’m going to have a great year and personally, I’m not having a terrible year at all.” the ‘Gyal dem Sugar’ added
