Dancehall artiste, Epixode has said he has never smoked in his life.
The ‘Avatar’ crooner categorically told MzGee in a conversation on JoyNews that he has never tasted alcohol either.
His comments was in relation to a viral video of him being handcuffed and arrested by the police.
Epixode who remained tight lipped on the reason for the arrest however vehemently rejected claims that he was arrested for smoking.
” I’ve never smoked before and I can bet this on my mother’s life. Anybody who knows me knows its true. I’ve never even drank alcohol before.
“People usually have misconception because of the genre I do but I’ve never smoked or drank before so its not about that.”
He also denied that the incident was put together to hype his upcoming album.
