Budding Ghanaian musician, Peter Famiyeh Bozah widely known as Fameye has said he was given GHC40.00 to buy a GHC50.00 jalabia for him during his time as a studio rat at Black Avenue Muziq.
The ‘Notin I get’ hitmaker stated that although the act by the ‘Stables’ hitmaker was not deliberate, he could not take back his GHC10.00 because Joey B was a superstar.
He made the statement when he joined other panelists including blogger Kobby Kyei, actress Kisa Gbekle and media personality Yazzi to discuss Publicity Stunts on JoyPrime’s Gee Spot.
According to him, earlier claims by Black Avenue Musiq (BAM) boss, D Black and rapper Joey B of ever knowing him hurt him badly.
“ I was seeping there (BAM). It wasn’t a stunt. Why would I say I was sweeping a studio when I wasn’t. There are o;d pictures to prove my claims. So I was surprised when news came out that Joey said he can’t send a total stranger
” There was this time when Chris Brown came to Ghana and they were going to perform ‘Alhaji’ so they decided to wear Jalabia but the one Joey B got was very small so Sammy Blac asked me to get a new one for Joey,.
“He gave me 40 cedis instead of 50 but he actually didn’t know the price and I also couldn’t ask for the rest because I felt I had bought something for a superstar so I left it” he added.
He further noted that if he had wanted to pull a publicity stunt to gain traction, he won’t falsely claim to be sweeping a studio.
