Gospel musician, Kofi Karikari has disclosed he was introduced to the music industry by Takoradi based gospel star KODA.
Known for tracks like ‘Meda wase’, ‘Hallelujah’, ‘Yaweh’, Kofi KariKari in a conversation with MzGee on TV3 New Day described KODA as his father:
“He is my father. He is one of the people who introduced me to the World,
Unsurprisingly, ‘Ma wonsa do’ which was Kofi Karikari’s debut track produced by KODA was released 9years ago.
“I should say because my first ever song I recorded, he recorded it for me for free in Takoradi and that how I got introduce to doing music mainstream so Kudos to KODA, I really salute him and I really love him”. He explained.
Kofi Karikari’s current rap song dubbed ‘Who say God no dey’ has received massive airplay across Ghana.
