Kofi Nti, colleague musician and close friend of late Highlife musician, Kofi Boakye Yiadom widely known as Kofi B has rubbished rumor that the musician died of poisoning.
Kofi Nti who was with Kofi B during his last moments stated that Kofi B died of Hypertensive related illness.
Speaking on Onua FM, the ‘Rakia’ hitmaker chided some section of Ghanaians for spreading the rumours.
” I’ve heard people all over social media claim that Kofi was poisoned. Ghanaians should stop that attitude. Kofi is my brother. We eat together and he invites to to his house on several occasions. Even the last meal he had, we ate together so I just don’t understand why some Ghanaians will purpote such rumours.” He stated
Explaining further, Kofi Nti said he was asleep in his hotel room at Abease Dominase in the Central region when he got a distress call from his friend about 2:00 am on Sunday.
According to him, although he was aware Kofi B had been battling with Hypertension, he never imagined it lead to his early death.
