Multiple award winning reggae/dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy has said the media fueled the feud between him and former arch rival, Shatta Wale.
Speaking at a press conference to emphasize on their truce, Stonebwoy accused the media of using their medium to create enmity between the feuding parties.
The ‘Kpoo K3K3’ hitmaker stated that the rivalry could have been contained if the media had promoted both artistes individually in a positive light.
“Instead of using their medium to promote peace between us, they found pleasure in thriving on the ‘beef’ between my brother and I which intensified the rivalry. They could have promoted us in a positive way and perhaps, we may have been united than divided,” the father of two said
Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale will be staging a unity concert following recent tensions that nearly marred the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
The two announced a joint they will be staging a unity concert dubbed ‘Ghana First’ at a later date.
