Ghanaian dancehall superstar, Stonebwoy has said his brand remains clean despite the Menzgold brouhaha.
The ‘Kpoo k3k3’ hitmaker who is signed to Zylofon Music, a subsidiary of Menzgold insists the scandal that hit the company has in no way affected his brand as a music star.
Brands experts have argued that celebrities who endorsed the troubled gold dealership firm will have their brands and credibility affected due to the nature of the scandal the company is entangled in.
But Stonebwoy disagrees with the assertion, saying his brand remains clean.
“My brand is clean, it has not been affected in any way. Yes I was once an ambassador and endorsed Menzgold dealings so it is fine if people are worried but my brand is ok,” Graphic Showbiz reported
The Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO), ordered a shutdown of Menzgold and its subsidiary companies following a court order to freeze the properties and assets of Menzgold Ghana Limited as well as other associated companies belonging to the CEO of the embattled gold dealership firm, Nana Appiah Mensah.
