Ghanaian Disc Jockey, DJ Vyrusky has given credit to afrobeats singer, Mr Eazi for his ability to make money from his music.
According to him, the ‘Supernova’ hitmaker taught him the techniques involved in tracking down his monetary gains from his music across the globe.
In a conversation with MzGee on ‘The Gist’, the award winning DJ who is also into music production said he has benefited immensely from his music from several streaming platforms.
” I make alot money off YouTube and iTunes. Thanks to Mr Eazi who showed me how to monetize my YouTube and all that. So I’ve been making very good money from YouTube and the other streaming platforms.”
“That’s how I benefit from my music. I make money from online streams. So that’s how come I’m always posting online so that the views go up because when the views go up, I make more money.” he said
The Starr FM DJ explained that he makes about $1000 and above every three weeks from YouTube views.
” There’s no fixed sum but I think every 3 weeks you make a little over $1000″ he added
