Van Vicker

Actor Van Vicker has expressed shock over the massive votes garnered by Former President Mahama to win the presidential primaries of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The actor who took to social media to congratulate Mr. Mahama on his victory said the overwhelming endorsement was shocking.

In a congratulatory message, Van Vicker wrote: “Congrats to the NDC and it’s new flagberer, Ex-president John Dramani Mahama. My mouth full up with the results; I am stupefied. 7 aspirants and the winner took 95% of the votes? Did the other 6 campaign during the race at all or JM is just liked by many within the party? #theyounggodfather

John Mahama beat competition from six other aspirants in the NDC’s presidential primaries held on Saturday February 23, 2019 to emerge winner.

Certified results from the Electoral Commission show that Mr Mahama secured an overwhelming 213,487 votes representing 95.23 percent of the total valid votes cast with the other six contenders managing with about 4 percent.
