Rapper Teephlow has said the new generation of rappers are uninterested in writing good music.

The Fante rapper who was one of the artistes who performed at Obrafour’s Back to Taifa concert last weekend said the recent crop of rappers can’t have the same influence as the legendary rapper on their fans.

In a conversation with MzGee on ‘The Gist’, the ‘forgive’ hitmaker noted that the current generation of rappers prefer having fun.

” Our generation has changed. Our generation don’t want to sit down and write music. Our generation doesn’t want to do anything special. The world has made it seem like we just need to do drugs and have fun.” he stated

The Gist airs on the Joynews Channel on MultiTV and on DSTV 421 on Saturdays and Sundays at 8.30pm
